Wursterland

In Land Wursten you will learn everything about life on the coast and behind the dikes.
Whether beach or mudflats, idyllic landscapes and historic buildings characterize the area around Bremerhaven. Fresh sea air and crab purchase directly at the cutter let many Bremerhavener spend the weekend in the country Wursten. Wursten, by the way, has nothing to do with food production, but with the precursors of the dikes, the Wurten.

These mounds have always protected the coastal residents from the forces of nature.
